| Get together with the rest of your yard and buy in bulk. Be cheeky when approaching feed/bedding merchants and ask for a discount. | |

| Swapped from shavings to straw Shona has no shoes as from august last yr but think she is going to need them back, Star always has no shoes his feet are like rocks! Stopped buying rugs when they really dont need anymore! | |

| approached local farmer re; hay for sale. He does sell what he makes and it now costs me £25 a month where before, buying it from the feed stores it was costing me over £50!!! Also use easibed, which i am finding i use less of than shavings and its cheaper. | |
